Title: Towards the Hill

Description:

Towards the Hill is a textured oil painting capturing rolling patchwork fields leading up to a soft, slate-grey hill under a changing Irish sky. Thick palette-knife marks and lush greens pull your eye along the little laneway through the fields, with pops of pink and gold suggesting wildflowers and hedgerows along the way. Finished with a gloss varnish, the surface catches the light beautifully, enhancing the depth of colour and movement in the paint. This is an original artwork – perfect for bringing a little window of rural Ireland into a cosy corner of your home.
