The Hill of Truth

Original Acrylic on Canvas Board

102cm x 153cm

A vibrant celebration of the landscape where bold colour & expressive brushwork lead the eye towards the cross on the hilltop. A textured acrylic painting created with palette knife and expressive brushwork, capturing the quiet strength and ever-changing character of the landscape. Layers of rich colour move across the hillside beneath a sweeping, atmospheric sky, giving a sense of movement, depth and the shifting Irish weather. The Hill of Truth reflects the connection we form with familiar places — landscapes that hold memories, stories and a sense of belonging. There is a quiet honesty in the hill, standing constant through changing seasons, offering a feeling of stillness, grounding and connection to the land.
